OUR FABRICS

All about our fabrics

What fabrics do we prefer to use at myfashionfruit? What are their benefits? How do
we care for them so they have a long life cycle? Follow our team's tips and
keep your favorite mff pieces for a long time!

Viscose

One of our favorite fabrics — for its flowy silhouette and its lightweight feel. It
flatters every curve of the body. Our viscose pieces at myfashionfruit are
mainly produced in Italy.

How to care for your viscose pieces?

Wash in cold water, either by hand or on a delicate cycle. Air dry naturally. If a
piece shrinks slightly in the wash, ironing brings it back to its original
size.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural fabric that feels wonderful on the skin, especially on warmer days.
It has hypoallergenic properties, making it ideal for more sensitive skin.

How to care for your cotton pieces?

Usually easy to care for. Machine wash at 30°C — a more eco-friendly choice that also
keeps the color more vibrant.

Leather

In our collections you'll find either Vintage / deadstock leather or synthetic / eco
leather.

How to care for our leather pieces?

Leather is a very delicate material. Keep it away from water. Dry cleaning is recommended
in both cases.

Knits

One of our favorite winter collections.

How to care for our knit pieces?

Care for your knits by washing them in cold water, on a delicate cycle or ideally by
hand. Gently squeeze out excess water and avoid wringing. Lay flat to dry on a
surface to prevent stretching. Avoid ironing.

The Silks

One of our iconic collections is the Silk & Colorful — one-of-a-kind pieces sewn with
deadstock silk from India, combined with rayon to bind the pieces together.

How to care for our Silk & Colorful pieces?

Hand wash only, alone, in cold water. Air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight.

Woolens

Our wool coats, blazers, and jackets are among the most beloved and timeless pieces in our wardrobe.

How do we care for our woolen pieces?

Dry cleaning or spot cleaning recommended. Hang rather than fold to maintain their natural shape. Iron gently and carefully.

Linen

Linen is a durable fabric — the strongest natural fiber — that allows our skin to breathe.
With the right care, our linen pieces have a very long lifespan. It also has
hypoallergenic properties, ideal for more sensitive skin.

How do we care for our linen pieces?

Wash at 30°C, ideally on a delicate cycle or in cold water. We recommend drying your
linen pieces in the shade to keep the colors vibrant.

The denim

How do we care for our denim pieces?

Machine wash inside out, up to 30°C. Tumble drying is not recommended. Iron inside out if needed. For the first few washes, it's better to wash with darker items (this does not apply to white jeans). Always follow the care label instructions.
